Rizobactérias e desenvolvimento de mudas a partir de estacas semilenhosas de oliveira
Abstract
O enraizamento de estacas semilenhosas de oliveira, durante o desenvolvimento de mudas, ainda é considerado baixo. Estudos têm demonstrado que rizobactérias, pela produção de hormônios, principalmente ácido indolacético (AIA), podem atuar no enraizamento. Este estudo objetivou avaliar o potencial de isolados de rizobactérias (32, 39, 42 e 48) e das estirpes-tipo Azospirillum brasilense (BR 11001t), Azospirillum amazonense (BR 11040t), Herbaspirillum seropedicae (BR 11175t) e Burkholderia brasilensis (BR 11340t) de promoverem o enraizamento e desenvolvimento de mudas de oliveira, a partir de estacas semilenhosas da cultivar Grappolo 541. Os isolados e estirpes-tipo apresentaram produção de AIA in vitro variando de 200 a 1.406 μg mL-1, sendo os isolados 39 e 48 os maiores produtores. No entanto, não houve correlação entre produção de AIA obtida in vitro e o enraizamento. A estirpe-tipo H. seropedicae (BR 11175t), pelo incentivo no crescimento das raízes, apresentou potencial de utilização no enraizamento e desenvolvimento de estacas de oliveira da cultivar Grappolo 541, comparado ao hormônio ácido indolbutírico (AIB), comercialmente utilizado na formação de mudas.
