AMENDMENTS Thu ?? MICAS FI ?? SICAS SOIL IN AREAS OF AGRICULTURE IN THE VICINITY OF THE MOUNTAIN STATE PARK SEA, Ubatuba (SP)
Abstract
This work was undertaken on the outskirts of the Serra do Mar State Park in Ubatuba (SP), in the following areas: planting cassava, banana agroforestry area of capoeira and secondary forest, with the aim of identifying the degree of change that these areas have been submitted. Collected in July 2003 and March 2004 and evaluated changes were made in the chemical and physical properties of the soil in each area. The results show that there was a greater increase in organic carbon, calcium, magnesia and higher base saturation and decrease in the levels of aluminum in the area of banana compared to cassava area which, in turn, showed higher bulk density and lower volume total pores. By analysis of the main components, it appears that the characteristics of more correlated with changes in soil systems were: humic acid, hydrogen and aluminum, humin, phosphorus, magnesium and organic carbon fraction.
