Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the dry matter production of leaves, stems and roots of Moringa oleifera Lam seedlings under different nutrient solutions to the exclusion of macronutrients. Treatments consisted of seven nutrient solutions: a) complete solution (SC); b) N-CS; c) SC-P; d) SC-K; e) SC-Ca; f) SC-Mg; g)-S SC. The species studied showed different behavior in response to the omission of elements and complete treatment. The omission of N, P and Mg nutrient solution decreased the total dry mass (MST) and favored root growth increasing root / shoot (R / S) ratio. Omission of K, Ca and S did not alter the production of MST and the ratio R / PA.
