PARAMETERS BIOQUí ?? tamarins PLANT LONG PEPPER (Piper hispidinervum C.DC.) IN DIFFERENT CONDITIONS OF CULTIVATION IN MUNICI ?? PIO igarapé-AÇU, PA
Abstract
Biochemical parameters of long pepper plants in crops with and without water supplementation were studied under field conditions during the period of May / 98 to March / 99, in the municipality of Igarapé-Acu, PA. Adopted the following treatments: T1 - irrigated and non-fertilized; T2 - irrigated and fertilized; T3 - non-irrigated and non-fertilized; T4 - non-irrigated and fertilized. We evaluated the effect of water stress by chlorophyll content, the levels of soluble sugars and total protein, and phosphorus and potassium. It was observed that the driest months, the reduction in chlorophyll content was independent of the applied treatment with the chlorophyll, the most affected. Drought stress decreased the total soluble sugars and potassium, while the protein and phosphorus remained constant during the observation period. Irrigated plants, potassium contents increased with age.Downloads
