As Características qualitativas dos capins Mombaça e Marandu tratados com bioestimilantes de crescimento vegetal na Amazônia

Abstract

The objective was to evaluate the effect of two different biostimulants on the chemical composition and qualitative characteristics of Mombaça and Marandu grasses, in which BIOEST. plant, in addition to having a natural-based formulation. Two experiments were carried out simultaneously, one for Marandu grass and another for Mombaça grass, therefore, each species was attended to seven treatments treated in a completely randomized design, consisting of five replications for each treatment. The treatments were: Control (dose 0); biostimulant A (BIOEST.A) 0.5; 1.0 and 2.0 kg/ha and biostimulant B (BIOEST.B) 0.25; 0.5 and 1.0 L/ha. Data for biostimulants were analyzed separately, using organization by dummy variable and regression method analysis. Testing the fit to linear and quadratic models under the 0.05 significance level. The use of BIOEST.A in Marandu grass resulted in a linear decrease (p < 0.01) of 5.7 percentage points in DM content, while MM, PB, PBCC and PBPC increased by 4.2, 0.74, 0.62 and 0.12 (p < 0.046) percentage points, respectively, at the highest dose (2.0 kg/ha). As for the Mombaça grass species, the BIOEST.B suffered (p < 0.03) the levels of ADF by 1.72 and Lignin by 0.75 percentage points. Therefore, in the Marandu grass species, BIOEST.A stood out in dosages greater than 1.7 kg/ha, improving the nutritional potential of the forage. While in the Mombaça grass species, BIOEST.B stood out at a dosage of 0.5 L/ha, providing a more digestible forage.
